Product Design
This project is focused on providing a smooth and enjoyable introduction to Packaging Design. Over the course of 3 weeks students will create a brand identity and a corresponding packaging design for a bottle of wine, bag of coffee, and a box of cocoa.

STRATEGIC GOALS:
• Create a name & branding for a company focused upon premium food & wine
• Develop a target Consumer Persona for a signature line of products • Define a clear & distinct CONCEPT or BIG IDEA that will be used to inform designs & layouts
DESIGN GOALS:
• Quickly develop a range unique designs & layouts based upon supplied stimulus
• Refine a single design concept towards a specific target audience
• Develop a cohesive line of packaging for a BOTTLE of wine, a BAG of coffee & BOX of cocoa
TECHNICAL GOALS:
• Develop and adjust die-lines & artwork for various structures and labels • Learn to create a physical prototype including artwork preparation, printing, and assembly
• Document your packaging design using Orthographic Views and 3D Perspective Renderings
